Inspired by a gravestone that sits at Greyfriars Kirkyard in Scotland that I saw on my trip there many years ago.
This skull pendant is hand-carved in wax and cast in solid sterling silver, created as a taslisman for those who carry their stories close to the bone.
This piece honours the parts of us that have been shed - the versions of ourselves that broke, healed, and became something stranger and stronger. It’s a symbol of resilience to be worn as a protective charm and because you find beauty in what others overlook.
Hand carved from wax and then cast in solid 925 Sterling Silver, these pendants are hand finished to have a slightly weathered feel- like treasure dug up from the ground. I love keeping these signs of the handmade process as a part of the finished piece.
Approx 16mm wide and 20mm tall including bale.
